About Brooke

Brooke Jost is a skilled and dedicated attorney concentrating her practice on advocating for health care providers in medical malpractice, health care, long-term care, batch claims, and general liability matters. She represents clients at the national, state, and local levels, including hospital systems, long-term care facilities, physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals. Her work spans negligence claims, internal investigations, and administrative proceedings.

Brooke has developed a particular proficiency in managing batch and high-exposure medical negligence cases. Notably, she served as counsel of record for a major Florida hospital system in one of the nation’s largest batch claims, involving more than 500 plaintiffs.

Prior to joining Ferrainolo Allen, P.A., Brooke practiced at a national law firm, defending clients in complex medical negligence disputes. Earlier in her career, she served as a judicial extern to Chief Justice Charles T. Canady of the Florida Supreme Court and as an intern to United States District Court Judge Harvey E. Schlesinger in Jacksonville, Florida.

Brooke earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she distinguished herself as a member of the Florida Moot Court Team. She was recognized as Best Oral Advocate at the Robert Orseck Moot Court Competition and served as an editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida.

Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time with her family at the beach, traveling, and training for half marathons.
