Ashley Martell Fromm

Ashley Martell Fromm is a Shareholder specializing in medical malpractice, long-term care, health care, construction, professional liability, complex business litigation, and general liability matters. Her focus is on the defense of healthcare providers, long-term care facilities, businesses, hospitals, dentists, restaurants, grocers, veterinarians and clinics, and other professionals in litigation, appeals, and regulatory matters.

Ashley has represented major hospital systems, national chains, and small business owners in small claims, state circuit court, and federal courts across Florida. She also has extensive experience assisting clients with navigating regulatory compliance, disciplinary action, and defending complaints involving the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Previously, Ashley was a partner at a national defense law firm.

Ashley has been named a “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” each year since 2022. She is a presenter at didactics for an emergency medicine residency program where she educates medical residents on the intersection of patient care and medicolegal issues.

She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, and Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from the University of Florida. In law school, Ashley served as Executive Research Editor on the Florida Law Review and is an alumna of Florida Blue Key. She has served as Treasurer for the Federal Bar Association’s Law Student Association and the Corporate and Securities Litigation Group. She also clerked for the Federal Trade Commission and serves on the Board of Directors for the John and Katherine Duda Foundation, a philanthropic organization based in Central Florida.
